9.8% economic growth recorded in Armenia in Jan-May 2008

In January-May 2008, 9.8% economic growth was recorded in Armenia. The RA Statistical Service reports 982,149.4mln AMD GDP was recorded in Armenia (in market prices).
A GDP deflator index of 107.7% was recorded in January-May 2008 as compared with the corresponding period last year.
The share of taxes, with subsidies, reached 15% of GDP.
In January-May 2008, GDP per capita was 304,015 AMD or $987 (€647).
10.4% economic growth was recorded in Armenia in January-May 2007.
