Armenia joins Eurasian Development Bank

Armenian government has set up a task group to coordinate the
activity for the country’s membership in the Eurasian Development Bank.
Armenian minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan said
the group will arrange Armenia’s joining the Russia-Kazakhstan agreement
on founding the bank, cooperation issues and development of mid-term
programs.
Armenian government also decided to earmark $100,000
from the reserve fund to purchase bank stocks. The task group is
composed of seven members, including the deputy minister of energy and
natural resources and the deputy minister of finances.
