Armenian companies report a 16.1% rise in their sales proceeds

A number of largest Armenian companies posted a 16.1% rise in their combined sales proceeds in 2011 March from a year earlier which amounted to 208.1 billion drams, the State Revenue Committee said in its aggregated analysis of basic indicators of largest taxpayers conducted on a regular basis.
According to the analysis, 222 largest companies reported a total of 52.3 billion dram growth in their sale proceeds in 2011 March, while another 208 companies posted a drop worth 21.7 billion drams. The combined volume of imported goods and services by the largest taxpayers was said to have contracted by 13.2% from a year before to 67.8 billion drams. At that 142 companies reported a 15.5 billion rise in imports while 174 others posted a 25.9 billion decline.
The volume of exported goods and services by these companies in 2011 March grew by 3.6 billion drams year-on-year to 25.1 billion drams, the State Revenue Committee said. ($1 – 374.54 drams). -0-
