Armenian government revises some of 2010 budget indexes

The government of Armenia has revised today some of 2010 budget indexes, finance minister Tigran Davtian said, explaining that the revision was prompted by arrival of fresh loans and grants, which had not been taken into consideration when the 2010 budget was being calculated.
Speaking at a government session the minister said a $590,000 loan allocated by World Bank and a $172,200 co-financing of the government will be incorporated in 2010 budget. He said another $475,000 loan of World Bank allocated for management of solid waste and a $172,800 government co-financing, as well as another World Bank allocation of $90,000 and a $18,400 Armenian government co-financing for an energy development program will be included in the budget as well.
The 2010 budget approved in 2009 December, calls for 742 billion Drams in revenues and 935 billion Dram in spending. The projected deficit is 193.4 billion Drams. The government projects also a 1.2% GDP growth. M. M. -0-
