Armenia's foreign trade turnover grows by 28.9% to $2,428.6mln in H1 2008ARKA, 04.08.2008
Armenia’s foreign trade turnover grew by 28.9% up to $2,428.6mln in the first half of this year against the same period of 2007, Armenia’s State Statistical Service reported. Exports totaled $520.76mln (0.8% reduction) and imports grew by 40.3% up to $1,907.9mln.
The foreign trade negative balance was $1,387.2mln, and $1,359mln the humanitarian cargos exclusive. In January-June 2007 Armenia’s foreign trade turnover was $1,884.8mln.
