Armenia’s gross international reserves $1,602.3mln at the end of March 2008
In January-March 2008, Armenia’s gross international reserves
decreased by $56.9mln or by 3.4% down to $1,602.3mln, with a $19.4mln
decrease recorded in March.
A monthly review prepared by the
Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) says that hard currency assets had
amounted to $1,594.8mln – a $54.7mln or 3.3% decrease in the 1st quarter
of 2008.
Special Drawing Rights (SDR) in the International Monetary
Fund (IMF) amounted to $7.5mln at the end of March against $9.7mln at
the beginning of the year.
