Domestic trade turnover grows 5.9% in Armenia in the first six months of 2008ARKA, 08.08.2008
Armenia’s domestic trade turnover increased by 5.9 percent in the first half of 2008 as compared with the corresponding period last year to total 659.6bln drams, RA National Statistical Service reports. The share of retail trade is 62.6% or 412.9bln drams - a 5 percent increase as compared with the corresponding period last year.
A total of sixty-seven commodity markets were operating in Armenia in the reported period with nineteen of them in the capital.
