Armenian government to compensate 50% of small companies’ export certification expenses

On Thursday, Armenian government approved the plan of 50% governmental compensation of certification of small and mid-size companies’ imports.

The government has allocated AMD 10 million to the economy ministry for that Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan, speaking at the Cabinet’s regular meeting, said the aim of the governmental support is to make foreign markets available to small and mid-scale businesses and to spur their export.

Davtyan said that this is a pilot project and expressed hope that many will take advantage of this project. -0-
