Inflation In Armenia In November 2011 Compared To November 2010 Was 4.8%

Inflation in Armenia in November 2011 compared to November 2010 was recorded in the amount of 4.8% which is mainly conditioned by the price increase for food products (including alcohol drinks and tobacco products) by 6.4% and non-food products – 3.8%, Armenian National Statistic Service (NSS) informs.
According to the press-release, in November 2011 compared to November 2010 the prices for tariffs of services increased by 2.6%.
Index of consumer prices in January-November 2011 compared to the same period of 2010 was 107.9%, including prices for food products (including alcohol drinks and tobacco products) – 111.8%, non-food products – 103.3% and prices for tariffs of services – 103.7%.
In January-November 2011, monthly growth of consumer prices was 0.2% instead of 0.7%.
In November 2011 compared to October 2011, index of consumer prices increased by 1.2%. Prices for food products (including alcohol drinks and tobacco products) increased also by 1.2%, non-food products – 1.9% and prices for tariffs of services – 0.3%.
According to NSS data, in November 2011 vs. October 2011 in all the studied cities of Armenia consumer prices increased by 0.7-1.4%. The highest growth indicator was registered in Yerevan.
According to the state budget, inflation in Armenia was planned on the level of 4% (±1.5%). –0—
