ARKA, 17.03.2010
Head of World Bank Yerevan Office Aristomeneh Varoudakis ensured that the second wave of crisis is not expected in Armenia.
"The
second wave of crisis in Armenia can not take place without the second
wave in the global economy," he said at a press conference on Wednesday.
In this regard Varoudakis explained that the World Bank does not expect this second wave in the global economy.
"We
see encouraging signs, especially in the United States, a little less
in Europe, and pretty good prospects in Russia," he explained.
The
head of the WB Yerevan office added that if economic growth occurs in
Russia as it is expected, it will be well reflected in Armenia. -0-
