Ms. Alina Shirinyan has 7 years of experience in the sphere of audit and accounting. She is specialized in audit of projects funded by International Financial/Lending institutions, public and non-governmental organisations.
Ms. Shirinyan joined Grant Thornton in 2003 as Senior Auditor. In 2010 she became Audit Manager.

She has profound knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), US Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (US GAGAS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), US Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (US GAAP), Circulars of the United States President’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB Circulars), US Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Ms. Alina Shirinyan has strong professional experience in audit and accounting missions for projects and entities funded by international organizations, such as the United Nations, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, the World Bank, KfW, USAID and others.

Ms. Shirinyan’s portfolio includes assignments for various projects and organizations in Armenia and Georgia.
