Gagik Baghdasaryan

Mr. Baghdasaryan joined Grant Thornton in 2002 as an auditor in the International and Non-Governmental Organizations audit department, and is now a Manager. Possessing six years experience of audit and statutory work with local and international companies, Mr. Baghdasaryan is expert in audit and related services.

Throughout the past several years he has participated in and managed audit missions at different international and local non-governmental organizations, funds and project implementation units both in Armenia as well as in other CIS countries. Mr. Baghdasaryan's clients include projects and organizations funded by the World Bank, the United Nations, USAID, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, the European Commission, Millennium Challenge Corporation, British Council and others.

Mr. Baghdasaryan has managed audit missions of different commercial companies and international non-governmental organizations in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Georgia.

Mr. Baghdasaryan has extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) published by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) published by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). Mr. Baghdasaryan is highly experienced in audit and statutory work, tax and management consulting, finance and accounting.
