Hakob joined Grant Thornton in 2001 and currently holds the position of Managing Partner of “Grant Thornton Legal & Tax”. He is responsible for the strategic direction, operational execution and overall leadership of “Grant Thornton Legal & Tax”.
Hakob has over a decade of diversified experience as a lawyer in public sector, SME and financial sectors, proven expertise in advising both non-governmental organizations and private businesses, international and domestic organizations from a wide variety of industries and areas including financial institutions, charitable organizations, diplomatic missions, etc. He has rich practical experience and theoretical attainments in the legal field, such as real estate investment, development, land-use right acquisition, construction, sales, leasing, property management and etc.
Hakob provides legal advice in a wide range of areas of law, such as entity registration (including financial institutions), taxation, employment, environment, industry-specific regulations, NGO related legislation, etc. He led legal due diligence missions for a great number of clients with whom he developed trusted and valued relationships.
Hakob provides the clients with a highest level representation services in courts as well as state authorities. In civil and administrative lawsuits his comprehensive thinking ability can always achieve success and his performance in court is also very impressive. He has abundant experience and theoretical foundation in the services field of litigation, and has provided litigation service on numerous occasions.
