Experience

Aram started his career in Grant Thornton in 2005 as a Legal Adviser and is now a partner in “Grant Thornton Legal & Tax”. Aram has 21 years’ experience of a lawyer in public and private sectors, as well as in modernization Projects financed by EU and World Bank aimed for improving Legislature and Judiciary.

Aram has an extensive experience in implementing legal analyses and legal assessments of the different fields of Armenian legislation, including legislation gap analyses, impact assessments and legal drafting. He has special experience of work within the fields of financial law, capital markets, antitrust and competition, renewable energy and telecommunication sectors.

Aram has led and participated in legal advisory missions such as project financing, issuance and allocation of securities, lending facilities and collaterals, legal analysis and review, legal opinions and due diligence for a number of Armenian and foreign companies. He is highly experienced in drafting of legal documents consistent with local legislation and international practice.
